Warranty Policy


Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have your goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Any costs incurred on returning a product for a consumer guarantee claim will need to be borne by the person making the claim. HULK 4×4 will pay for return freight if the product is assessed as having a major failure. Contact with HULK 4×4 must be made prior to any items being returned. HULK 4×4 reserves the right to reasonably determine whether the product contains any defects covered by the Australian Consumer Law’s consumer guarantees. The product may need to be sent to the manufacturer to assess the defect before determining the outcome of any claim.

If you have a minor problem with a product, we can choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund. When you have a major problem with a product, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund.

Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depends on the manufacturer. We will try our best to speed up the process. Please understand the time involved for a warranty claim will include: our time to inspect the item, shipping back to the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s own tests and replacement/repair, and the shipping back to us.


The consumer guarantees might not apply if a product defect is caused by you; by abnormal or improper use or maintenance; by misuse, abuse or neglect; due to normal wear and tear; by a failure to follow user instructions (for example – loading of the product with weight in excess of the strength shown on the product information); by accidental damage, or by other alterations or modifications which affect the reliability or performance of the product. Whilst HULK 4×4 ensures all products comply with relevant mandatory product safety standards, it is the sole responsibility of the purchasers to ensure their purchased product is suitable for use under the relevant law and regulations in their respective jurisdictions.
